Tambourine (Rebana)

            Tambourine is religious music. Tambourine is instrument non melodies. Instrument music of tambourine use woodboard and leather of goat. Nice tambourine instrument is voiced clear. In Java, Tambourine is called Rebana. Usually Rebana escort the Sholawat, religious music, or classical Javanese song. This music usually used in wedding party, circumcision party, etc.

Everyday I listened the Sholawat to the Prophet Muhammad. My favorite  song is Raqqat ainaya shawqan, because the meaning of the song very deep, it is describe abaout the longing to the Prophet Muhammad. I also like the Turi Putih song, this song included classical Javanese song that tells of warning people to be careful in performing life in the world, because in the end people will die and be in afterlife. I felt calm when I listenend the sholawat.

My father have a group of Rebana. The name of the group is Asy-Syafa’ah. The member of Rebana group is instrumental musical, vocalist, and backing vacal. My father is vocalist. Twice on week my father have a schedule to teach his member. I like the voice of my father. I also like the other vocalist, his name is Wahid S. ahmad, he have good voice. I have many recording of his voice, everyday I listened it.
